1. Information we collect
We collect the email address and password you register with, the rent goal details you enter (base rent, landlord portal fee, due date), your vault and transaction history, and — only once cumulative deposits pass $1,000 — your mailing address and the last four digits of your SSN for identity verification required by our banking partners.
2. Bank connections
Bank credentials are never seen or stored by Vice Versa. Account linking and balance checks run through our payments processor, and we retain only a masked account reference used to debit deposits and dispatch rent.
3. How we use your data
Your data is used to operate your vault: calculating your target balance and installment pace, moving funds, sending deposit receipts and rent dispatch confirmations, preventing fraud, and meeting legal and record-keeping obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Sharing
We share only what is necessary with our banking, payment and email providers, with the landlord or property manager tied to your vault (your rent progress and dispatch status), and with authorities when legally required.
5. Retention and deletion
Closing your account pays out any remaining vault balance, revokes your virtual eCheck number, and soft-deletes your profile. Financial records are retained as long as required by law.
6. Your choices
You may request access, correction, export or deletion of your data at any time.
